(The Bwa-Sec)

Named after Mr. Alphonse Ardoin (a.k.a. "Bois Sec"), Creole accordion legend who was one of the first guests to stay in the room.

• Features a "front row window" to the Blue Moon Saloon. Yes, it's LOUD - you'll think the band is IN your room, BUT the music normally ends between midnight and 12:30am AND it's always good.

(AKA The Cowboy Room)

This is a cozy sleeper with wood floors and a back door leading to the yard.  It contains a small collection of boots and books about cowboys & cowgirls.

• 1 Queen sized bed
• Contains private half bath (two bathrooms with showers available across the dining room)
• Located by the dining room, somewhat away from the Saloon.

This room is named for the local cornbread concoction served with cane syrup and warm milk.  The walls are brightly decorated with old garden magazines.  There's a back door that leads to the backyard and the Saloon.

• 3 single bunks and 1 double (sleeps 5)
• Two shared bathrooms available downstairs (wheelchair accessible shower available across the dining room)
• Located by the kitchen, somewhat away from the Saloon

(AKA Chuck & Anastasia Room)

This room used to be the bedroom of Charles and Anastasie Gahn.  The Gahns owned the home from the 1930s to the 1980s.

• Sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 single bunks and 2 double bunks
• Two shared bathrooms available downstairs
• You can rent this entire room or rent a single bed and share it with other travelers - hostel style.

The Balcony is located upstairs. It has a private bathroom with 2 showers, and a private balcony. It contains a large double bed and a futon, which can be used as another double bed or as a sitting area. The Balcony also has a full wall adorned with posters of local and international musicians that have played at the Saloon and made the Blue Moon what it is

today. AND you can see the Mardi Gras parade route from the private balcony!

Being upstairs and the farthest away from the saloon, this is a quiet nook of a room for guests looking for a little more privacy.
